Why Produce a Pink Tool in October? How the Tool Came About
Our customers know and trust the Mini-Ductor product line as quality tools made right here in Elgin, IL. The Mini-Ductor Venom® was especially fun to release because that was Induction Innovations’ first team project back in 2016. Everyone got to vote on their favorite name. Venom won and we chose the Induction Innovations blue as its color. Then, when it came time for the release of the Venom HP, we wanted the color to pack a punch and picked the bold green color to represent our highest-powered unit.
In 2020, we started having a conversation about future tool colors. We talked about other tool companies that released pink tool kits around October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. And we also had close family and friend connections to breast cancer survivors and those currently in treatment. Breast cancer affects millions and not just women!
According to the American Breast Cancer Foundation’s page,
