Introducing the Highest-Powered Mini-Ductor Yet: The Mini-Ductor Venom HP

WWII Mk 18 Torpedo Repaired with Induction Heating

The fourth generation of the Mini-Ductor portable induction heater is coming, and it’s hotter than ever.

Shipping out during the first quarter of 2020, the Venom HP releases metals from corrosion and thread lock compounds faster than the Mini-Ductor Venom, all without the dangers associated with using an open flame. The latest model in the Mini-Ductor Series promises even more power than the original – bringing serious bite.

The Latest Venom: Vicious on Stuck Hardware Yet Safer than the Torch

“Venom HP’s feature set includes a bold new color along with maximum power available from a 120v/15amp line, with a heavy duty 18-amp cord to deliver the needed current to its new circuit design,” said Tom Gough, President of Induction Innovations. “The new Venom HP allows users to heat larger metal fasteners and components faster than ever before.”

With many of the same features as the original Mini-Ductor Venom, the Venom HP takes it up a notch with:

  • Same angled, lightweight ergonomic design with trigger
  • Convenient Coil Twist Lock™ (no thumb screws)
  • LED usage indicator
  • Fault override delay
  • Thermal cooling enhancements
  • 120V model (vs. 110V of the original Venom)

Continuous Evolution Means Better Tools for Our Customers

Since the release of the Mini-Ductor Venom in 2016, our customers have often let us know how the tool has changed the way they work. For instance, Ryan Topliffe detailed his experience with the 2016 model and how it goes beyond what a torch can do:

“Today was the first time I used my Mini-Ductor Venom. I was working on a 14-year-old van doing exhaust work. The Venom got all the nuts red hot in seconds and they came off very easily. I like the Venom because I do not have to worry about damaging other components or setting things on fire as you would when working with an acetylene torch in tight places. I would give the Mini-Ductor Venom a solid 5 out of 5.”

With the Venom HP, the process of heating stuck parts is even faster and easier than it is with the original Venom. You can release the following effortlessly:
